Full Liquid Type

"Full liquid" refers to the unit used in the "shell and tube evaporator" using a "full liquid evaporator" in the

form, which is different from the "dry", "falling film" of a shell and tube evaporation Device.

Its "shell" inside the refrigerant cycle, "pipe" to take the chilled water cycle, from the profile point of view,

as if there are half of the cylinder tube refrigerant, and the water pipe bundle soaked in the refrigerant. It

is the opposite of the "dry evaporator", dry type is "pipe" to take the refrigerant, "shell" water, like the

refrigerant tube soaked in water.

Full-liquid evaporator, and full-liquid unit, compared with the dry evaporator / dry unit heat transfer

efficiency is higher, the water temperature and the temperature difference between the temperature

difference is small, along the resistance is small, suitable for large circulation Of the unit (such as

centrifuges), the cooling effect is good. But the refrigerant charge requirements, and the need for a

dedicated oil return system to help the compressor back to the oil.
